Aaron Rodgers wants Green Bay London game

Aaron Rodgers wants to play in London.

Sounding incredibly sincere, the quarterback told NFL UK's Vernon Kay that he and team president Mark Murphy have made their feelings known about playing in either Twickenham or Wembley.

But taking the onus from the Packers to deliver on his words, ARod continued "We're not going to give up a home game because we're sold out for the next 30 years ...and nobody wants to give up a home game to the Packers because they know [we'll bring] a full house".

Despite a huge UK fan base, Green Bay is the only NFL team yet to schedule a London game. Rodgers doesn't think it'll never happen however, continuing: "Hopefully at some point the league will intervene and make us go there."

When asked why he would like to travel to England's capital, number 12's answer seemed well-thought out. Referencing players who spent a week in the capital for their international game, Rodgers talked about how the game is a great team experience:

"Our week is not that bad schedule-wise. So if you get over there on a Monday, you'll be able to go around the city. Maybe there's a premier league game we can watch."

The Packers are one of the best supported teams in the league, with 100,000 people registered to its season ticket waiting list -- the equivalent of a 30-year jam. But with the NFL already announcing its 2019 London games, we know fans this side of the Atlantic won't see them this year.
