Dallas Cowboys defensive end Randy Gregory has been suspended again.
Gregory's indefinite suspension - his fourth suspension since entering the league in 2015 - is for violating the NFL's substance-abuse policy and the terms of his conditional reinstatement.
The defensive end was once touted as a first round pick but dropped to the second round following a failed drug test at the NFL Combine. He finished his rookie campaign missing four games with an ankle injury, before being banned 14 games in 2016 and all of 2017 for substance abuse violations.
The Cowboys pass rush takes a huge hit with the news. Gregory had somewhat of a breakout season in 2018, recording six sacks opposite Demarcus Lawrence -- who will likely hit free agency.
Gregory is entering the final year of his four-year rookie contract worth $3.8 million, but there's no guarantee the 26-year-old will be reinstated again.
