TAKEAWAYS

PROS

- Returning linebackers Mychal Kendricks, KJ Wright and Bobby Wagner give the Seahawks an extremely talented group of players that didn't take the field together in 2018 because of suspensions and injury. Such a dynamic linebacker corps will provide plenty of questions for opponents in 2019.

CONS

- Considering Seattle plays Arizona's air raid offense, LA's fifth-ranked passing game and San Francisco's speedsters twice each year, the secondary is a legitimate target for the Seahawks in the draft. Cornerbacks Shaquill Griffin and Tre Flowers are starter caliber defensive backs but aren't quite Pro Bowl talents. The Seahawks could do with refilling the game-changing, shut down role Richard Sherman occupied during the Legion of Boom years. Finding one isn't easy, but the Seahawks are in a good place to take a guy with the 21st overall pick.

- The offensive line looks good on paper but could definitely be upgraded. Newly-acquired guard Mike Iupati missed 21 of his last 32 games with different injuries and has seen his production decline since going to four straight Pro Bowls between 2012-2015. Germain Ifedi has graded out as one of the worst guards in the league since entering via first round pick in 2016. The team is already wondering whether to decline his fifth year option and would be best served replacing him sooner rather than later. Letting guard JR Sweezy walk in free agency is some bit of a surprise considering how he played in 2018.

- Oft-injured wide receiver Doug Baldwin has contemplated retirement following a number of surgeries in recent years. While Baldwin should be around in 2019, the Seahawks need someone in place to take over as their go-to guy. Tyler Lockett won't command enough respect as a #1 receiver and David Moore became ineffective after a good start to 2018 -- catching just four of 16 targets in the final five games.

- UPDATE: Defensive end Cassius Marsh is slotting in for the traded Frank Clark. The Seahawks desperately need to address the position all of a sudden. A plan to do so is likely in the works.
