Tottenham Hotspur Stadium will finally see its first NFL action when the Chicago Bears and Oakland Raiders kick off the 2019 NFL London series on October 6th.
The stadium will become the first arena outside the USA to boast dedicated NFL facilities such as its own NFL pitch, purpose-built dressing rooms and a specialised medical & media wing.
The historic fixture will come almost a year after the stadium was set to host the Raiders and Seattle Seahawks -- a game that was moved Wembley Stadium because the venue was unfinished. It will mark the beginning of a 10-year lease the NFL has with Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
The announcement came along with the 2019 NFL London schedule release that will also see the Carolina Panthers take on NFC South rivals the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Tottenham Hotspur Stadium a week later. Wembley will host games on October 27th and November 3rd, with the Cincinnati Bengals set to take on the LA Rams and the Houston Texans playing the Jacksonville Jaguars.
Ticketing details for all games will be announced in the future. Fans can register their interest in purchasing tickets by visiting www.nfl.com/uk.
